CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF COMMUNITY RADIO
The Sound of...Static?
You may have noticed something missing on your radio dial – KOOP 91.7 FM. Our FM signal is currently off the air due to an unexpected equipment failure at the transmitter site. That equipment is owned, managed, and maintained by UT Student Media, which operates our sister station, KVRX. Their engineers are moving repairs forward as quickly as possible and are sharing updates as soon as they become available.
Fortunately, our full daily broadcast continues uninterrupted on our stream right here at koop.org, where you can listen on your computer, your phone, your smart speaker or connected vehicle – anywhere you tune in with intention and love for independent radio. Thank you for your patience, and your always-curious ears.
