KOOP Radio invites you to join our Community Organization Membership Program!
KOOP 91.7 FM is a nonprofit community-owned and operated radio station right here in Austin, Texas. Our mission is to engage, connect and enrich the whole community, including the underserved through creating diverse, quality, educational, music and news programming.
Through our Community Organization Membership Program we can amplify your nonprofit’s message with the following member benefits:
- A Public Service Announcement (PSA) for broadcast.
- On-air opportunities on KOOP news and public affairs shows
- An invitation to our annual Community Council Open House and other networking events connecting area nonprofits with each other and KOOP.
- Community Organization Members enjoy voting rights in KOOP elections, and are eligible to run for Community Organization positions on KOOP’s Community Council, an advisory board for the station.
- Annual membership is free, and there is no required volunteer time.
