The Singer and the Song welcomes Brittany Shane. Brittany is a wonderful Austin singer songwriter who is also a member of a very cool Bangles tribute band called The Hazy Shades. Earlier this year, Brittany was diagnosed with breast cancer. She’s now doing great, and just months since her treatment, she’s hosting a benefit concert for Breast Cancer Resource Center of Austin. That’s just the kind of positive person she is, giving back through her sweet music. I’m so happy to welcome Brittany back to The Singer and the Song, as she performs live for the whole hour on KOOP 91.7 FM and koop.org, 3-4pm, Saturday, October 17th, 2026.
