The KOOP Board of Directors has approved submitting a proposed amendment to Article Ten of the KOOP Bylaws to the station’s voting membership for consideration.
The proposed amendment would move KOOP’s Annual Election from the fall to the summer, with the goal of improving candidate recruitment, increasing member participation, and separating the election from the station’s Fall Membership Drive. The proposal also removes obsolete language related to the 2006 election transition.
If you contributed $35 or more to KOOP between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, you are eligible to vote on this amendment. Eligible members will receive a secure electronic ballot through ElectionRunner no later than October 20, 2026.
