Tribute band Heartbyrne is bringing love to all things Talking Heads this Valentine’s Day at Antone’s Nightclub. With an impressive and sizable dance and instrumental ensemble, coupled with a dead-on David Byrne-esque vocalist, try to avoid burning down the house on the way to this hot ticket show. More info.

Wednesday, 2.15.23 – 8pm, Girls Who Do Boys Who Do Girls benefiting the SIMS Foundation, 3ten ACL Live, $20, Singer/Songwriter

Turn out for this SIMS Foundation fundraiser featuring a whole cast of stellar local talent. Each performer is tasked with bringing their own unique interpretation to a work of the songwriter just after them. Featuring the voices of Bill Kirchen, Kelly Willis, Kevin Russell, Sydney Wright, and Akina Adderley, the proceeds from this event will go towards helping the SIMS Foundation in their mission to assist musicians and music industry professionals with mental health services and addiction recovery. Friday, 2.17.23 – 9pm, Wild Seeds w/The Shanks, ABGB, Free, Rock and Roll

Keeping the local flavor going this week, down at the Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co. will be one of the best bands of the “new sincerity”. With a swinging roots rock sound that infuses pop stylings of the era with something fresh and original, The Wild Seeds deserve to be seen by all.
