Ted Branson
Ted was born and raised on the south side of Chicago experiencing the blues first hand @ 13 when at his High School Homecoming Freshman Year 1968 Howlin’ Wolf and His Wolf Pack performed in the football stadium shocking parents who ran from the stadium yelling “It’s the Devil”! I loved them and was hooked searching out Muddy Waters and others…eventually making it to the delta’s King Biscuit Blues Festival meeting recording heroes 1st hand! Arrived Austin 1974 at 19 years old seeing Willie Dixon perform at 1st Antone’s location knowing I was home.
