On the KOOP airwaves since 2010, Lights Camera Austin is a fun and informative look at what’s happening locally and nationally in film, Lights Camera Austin features interviews with area and Hollywood talent and filmmakers, festival programmers, and other key industry figures. The show also includes reviews and a weekly film event guide. In 2018, The Austin Chronicle named Lights Camera Austin “Best Sound of Cinema.” Archived interviews and film reviews are available at LightsCameraAustin.net.
Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Launched in March 2023, Original Motion Picture Soundtrack features songs and score selections from films old and new. Host Robert Sims plays music sets revolving around film-related events in Austin, new movie releases, old favorites, established and up-and-coming composers, and some of the best and brightest stars and filmmakers of today and yesteryear. Original Motion Picture Soundtrack also includes a weekly film event guide, reviews, and the occasional interview.
