Are you a collector of physical music and art? So are we! On Wednesday, March 16, from 7-9pm, come to Date Night @DAC: Art & Album Switch & Mix, hosted by the Dougherty Arts Center with the help of KOOP Radio. It’s time to upgrade your collection. Swap CDs, cassettes, vinyl, drawings, paintings, art supplies, prints and more with fellow enthusiasts while enjoying expertly curated music at this come-and-go as you please event.
Music at the Art & Album Switch & Mix event will be curated by none other than DJ Scott Gardner of KOOP’s own Stronger Than Dirt.
While no favors, services, or money will be exchanged at this event, attendees are encouraged to trade their items as many times as they’d like. Come with an album you’re done listening to, or a painting that’s been sitting unhung too long, and who knows what mind-blowing masterpiece you’ll be able to walk away with instead! Feel free to bring original music or artwork that you own, or ones that you’ve purchased from other artists in the past.
