The next Volunteer Orientation date will be:

Tuesday, November 12 at 7:00 P.M. via Zoom

KOOP (“co-op”) is primarily volunteer-run. Volunteer opportunities include maintaining our equipment, planning events, creating graphic design, writing content for our website and social media, and much more. We onboard new volunteers year round, and look forward to welcoming you into the cooperative!

Volunteers who fulfill a minimum hours requirement are granted full membership, which allows them to vote in station elections (and therefore influence station policy). Those who fulfill the hours requirement may also train to become programmers and apply for a show on our schedule.

Before you can volunteer at KOOP, you will need to attend a volunteer orientation. These occur almost every month. The orientation is a 30-45 minute presentation that covers KOOP’s history, our structure, and how to be involved as a volunteer. After filling out the Volunteer Information form, you will receive an email with more information on how to attend about a week prior to the orientation.

Prior to attending orientation, please express your interest by filling out the Volunteer Information form below.
