The Singer and the Song welcomes Donna Lipman. Donna will perform songs of her late friend John Denver, and she’ll share stories of the work that she and her late husband Terry did with John’s Windstar Foundation. Donna came on the show more than a year ago to do this, and now, we’re doing it again but with different songs, as she digs deeper into John’s great catalogue. Donna and I are both huge John Denver fans, so this episode will be so special, and you will love her voice as she performs live for us the whole hour on KOOP 91.7 FM and koop.org, 3-4pm, Saturday, October 3rd, 2026. By the way, you can still hear the last two episodes (Shanna in a Dress, Patricia Vonne) at https://koop.org/program/the-singer-and-the-song/
By the way, I’ll also be hosting Four on the Floor (disco) at 4pm and Fresh from the Underground (new independent artist releases) at 5pm, so three hours of fun on KOOP, please join me!
