The Singer and the Song welcomes Susan Gibson. Susan is a songwriter’s songwriter, a brilliant artist, and a great live performer. All her songs are thoughtful and beautiful, but there’s one little tune in particular that she wrote that you know as monster hit for the Chicks called “Wide Open Spaces.” It’s been a long time since I’ve had her on the radio, and I’m honored to have her this weekend as she performs live for the whole hour on KOOP 91.7 FM and koop.org, 3-4pm, Saturday, October 24th, 2026. By the way, you can still hear the last two episodes (Brittany Shane, Allan Gill Quartet) at https://koop.org/program/the-singer-and-the-song/
