This Saturday on Adventures in Sound:
We’ll celebrate the birth anniversary of composer Ray Henderson!
Henderson co-wrote dozens of hit songs during the 1920s and 1930s (often in collaboration with lyricists Lew Brown and Buddy DeSylva).
Among the artists we’ll hear performing his songs are Jack Hylton and Whispering Jack Smith.
It’s happening from 1 to 2 p.m. on 91. 7 FM (and koop.org)
Thanks for listening!
