The Singer and the Song remembers the late great Bobby Whitlock with a special Membership Drive encore performance by Bobby and Coco Carmel at KOOP. Bobby and Coco came to perform on the show in 2012, and it was an episode to remember. Bobby was in the legendary Derek and the Dominos, and spoiler, all the songs that Bobby and Coco played live at KOOP were from the Dominos catalog. Bobby was the real deal in blues-based rock, and we lost him just last month at age 77, but his music lives on, as you will hear for the who hour on KOOP 91.7 FM and koop.org, 3-4pm, Saturday, September 6, 2025.
