COVER ART OF THE WEEK: “Recombo DNA” is a comprehensive collection of Devo demos and unreleased materials. First released on Rhino Records in 2000 as a limited edition 2-CD, it was reissued in 2017 on Futurismo. The reissue came on quadruple vinyl with new artwork and contained bonus tracks along with a mini CD. There were three distinct editions, one with clear splatter vinyl, another with yellow splatter, and a third limited edition with each record on clear vinyl of a different color and each record in a uniquely designed and colored sleeve. A two-sided poster with liner notes was included. The front cover painting is from the collection of American prop designer John Zabrucky. It is owned by his long-time friend and bandmember Gerald Casale. (Click on images to enlarge)
