This Tuesday our guest will be Anthony Gutierrez, Executive Director for Common Cause Texas. We’ll be discussing voter suppression, intimidation, and assorted threats to democracy. Michelle Manning-Scott will provide an update on drive-up submission of mail-in ballots – as of Saturday afternoon, anyway. We’re hoping that Governor Abbott’s order that restricts counties to a single site will be overturned before our (pre-recorded) show airs. As usual, our friend Jim Harrington also adds to the discussion from his experience as founder of the Texas Civil Rights Project.
