Due to the limited availability of COVID-19 tests, the City of Austin and Travis County officials continue to require residents to take mandatory screening tests in order to qualify for COVID-19 testing. As the state of Texas follows recommendations from the governor’s office on re-opening nonessential businesses, Travis County’s stay-at-home order extends to June 15, 2020.
