Big Bill’s latest release “Coma” takes us on a punk rock journey all the way to our neighboring state of Oklahoma. The single came out back in May with the band continuing their sound from their 2017 album Stand By Your Bill – i.e: jittery post-punk song structures and lyrics that feel like the audience is in on some inside joke (the track finishes with the line “I swallowed a pig” over and over). Punk bands have a history of putting out recordings that can’t compare to their live performance but with “Coma,” the band captured exactly how it would sound if you saw it in-person, pure fun.
