People United features historian and urban theorist Mike Davis with a California perspective on the notion of Texas as the model for our nation's future.

Mike Davis is best known for his 1990 book City of Quartz: Excavating the Future in Los Angeles.  He has served as an editor of The New Left Review and also has written for The NationThe Rag Blog, and other publications.
